Half-Nut

Half-nut design is typically used where automatic Disengagement of the Nut is needed in a Machine Like a Fork, PVC Threading, or Fine Threading Process.

Split-Nut

Split-Nut Design is used in the course Threading process. It provides more life but has a downside compared to Half-Nut as it has to be manually disengaged. It can also increase the Cycle Time
